The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the night enshrouding 1 By the day when it appeareth in glory, 2 And by oath of the One Who created the male and the female. 3 O men, you truly strive towards the most diverse ends! 4 So for one who gave and practised piety 5 And believes in Al-Husna. 6 Surely We will ease his way unto the state of ease. 7 As for him who was a miser and behaved with aversion (to Allah), 8 and denied the Truth of goodness: 9 for him shall We make easy the path towards hardship: 10 his wealth shall not avail him when he perishes. 11 BEHOLD, it is indeed for Us to grace [you] with guidance; 12 and to Us belong the hereafter and the worldly life. 13 I have now warned you of the Blazing Fire, 14 None shall enter it but the most unhappy, 15 who rejected the Truth, calling it falsehood and turned his back on it. 16 The pious ones will be safe from this fire 17 who spend for the cause of God and purify themselves. 18 and confers no favour on any man for recompense, 19 But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High. 20 and such, indeed, shall in time be well-pleased. 21
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
