The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
