Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
