The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 The Merciful, the Compassionate 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 (Lord), You alone We do worship and from You alone we do seek assistance 5 Guide us to the Straight Path, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
