Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
