Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
