And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 After they had passed the place, Moses said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal; we have indeed been fatigued by this journey." 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing. 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 "How can you remain patient with that which you do not fully understand?" 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 "If you must follow me," he said, "do not ask me any thing until I speak of it to you myself." 70

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
