۞ (God will command the angels), "Gather together the unjust, their spouses, and what they had worshipped 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 Nay, but that day they shall submit (to Judgment); 26 And some of them will confront the others, 27 "It was you who tried to mislead us from righteousness". 28 They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers. 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 we perverted you, indeed, we were perverts' 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 Lo! thus deal We with the guilty. 34 Indeed, when it was said to them, “There is no God except Allah”, they were haughty. 35 and said, "Should we give up our idols for the sake of an insane poet". 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 You will indeed taste a painful punishment, 38 “And you will not be compensated except for your deeds.” 39 But the bondmen of Allah, the sincere ones 40 For them is a Sustenance determined, 41 Fruits. And they will be honoured 42 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise), 43 facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 44 With cups from a flowing stream being passed around, 45 White and delicious to the drinkers; 46 There will neither be any harm in it for their body nor will it intoxicate their mind. 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 [as free of faults] as if they were hidden [ostrich] eggs. 49 They will go to one another asking each other questions. 50 A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade 51 Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52 "(That) when we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed (be raised up) to receive reward or punishment (according to our deeds)?" 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then he looked down and saw him in the midst of hell. 55 'By Allah' he will say, 'you almost destroyed me! 56 for had it not been for my Sustainer's favour, I would surely be [now] among those who are given over [to suffering]! 57 Are we not then to die 58 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? 59 Verily, this - this indeed - is the triumph supreme!" 60 For the like of this let all strive, who wish to strive. 61 So is this welcome better, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64 its spathes are like the heads of satans 65 on it they shall feed, and with it they shall fill their bellies. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 Then to Hell they will surely be returned. 68 They found their fathers had gone astray; 69 So they (too) made haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, 71 And We had already sent among them warners. 72 Then see what was the end of those who were warned (but heeded not). 73 Other than the chosen creatures of God. 74
