The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And by the witnessing day (i.e. Friday), and by the witnessed day [i.e. the day of 'Arafat (Hajj) the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah]; 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
