Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
