The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
