And indeed, We created man from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. 26 and the jinn created We before of fire flaming. 27 And recall when your Lord said to the angels, “I will create man from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud.” 28 "So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him." 29 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. 30 except Iblis; he refused to join those who prostrated. 31 [Allah] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate?" 32 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud." 33 God said, "Then get out of here; for you are accursed, 34 And surely on you is curse until the day of judgment. 35 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 36 He said, "You are granted respite 37 till the Day the time whereof is known [to Me alone]." 38 He said, “My Lord! I swear by the fact that You sent me astray, I shall distract them in the earth, and I shall lead all of them astray.” 39 Except the chosen ones among Your creatures." 40 (Allah) said: "This is the Way which will lead straight to Me." 41 "For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee." 42 For whom the ordained place is surely Hell, 43 Which has several gates, and each gate is marked for every section of them." 44
