Lot's nation, belied their Messengers. 160 When their fellowman Lut said to them, “Do you not fear?” 161 "Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 162 So fear Allah, and obey me. 163 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 164 Do you approach males among the worlds 165 “And leave the wives your Lord has created for you? In fact you are people who exceed the limits.” 166 They said, “O Lut, if you do not desist, you will be expelled.” 167 He said: "I am one of those who abhor your practice. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 We saved him and all of his family, 170 Except an old woman, among those who remained behind. 171 then We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained on them a rain (of torment). And how evil was the rain of those who had been warned. 173 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175
