The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
