The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
