Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

Almighty Allah's Truth.
