We sent Noah (of old) unto his people, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him. Lo! I fear for you the retribution of an Awful Day. 59 The leaders of his people said, “Indeed we see you in open error.” 60 [Noah] said, "O my people, there is not error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds." 61 I deliver to you the messages of my Lord, and I offer you good advice and I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 “And are you surprised that an advice came to you from your Lord through a man amongst you, so that he may warn you and that you may fear, and so that there be mercy upon you?” 63 But they belied him, so We saved him and those along with him in the ship, and We drowned those who belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). They were indeed a blind people. 64
