On the day when We shall summon all men with their record, whoso is given his book in his right hand - such will read their book and they will not be wronged a shred. 71 But he who is blind in this life, shall be blind in the Everlasting Life and will be further astray from the Path. 72 AND behold, they [who have gone astray] endeavour to tempt thee away from all [the truth] with which We have inspired thee, [O Prophet,] with a view to making thee invent something else in Our name - in which case they would surely have made thee their friend! 73 And if We had not strengthened you, you would have almost inclined to them a little. 74 In that case, We would have made you taste a double portion (of punishment) in this life and a double portion (of punishment) after death. And then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 Indeed they were near to startling thee from the land, to expel thee from it, and then they would have tarried after thee only a little -- 76 [such has been Our] way with all of Our apostles whom We sent before thy time; and no change wilt thou find in Our ways. 77
