(And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me ye will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ. 55 Then as for those who disbelieved I shall torment them with a severe torment in the world and the Hereafter, nor shall have they any helpers. 56 But those who believe and do righteous deeds, He will reward them in full. Allah does not love the unjust.' 57 This We recite to thee of signs and wise remembrance. 58 Verily, the likeness of 'Iesa (Jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was. 59 The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters. 60 Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you - say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us]." 61 This undoubtedly is the true narrative; there is none worthy of worship except Allah; and Allah is the Almighty, the Wise. 62 So if they turn away, then indeed Allah knows those who cause turmoil. 63
