Dawn (Al-Fajr)
30 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Night (Al-Layl) before The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by the daybreak, 1 By the Nights twice five; 2 by the even and the odd, 3 And by the night when it departs. 4 Is this not a sufficient oath for intelligent people? 5 Did you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not see (thought) how your Lord dealt with 'Ad (people)? 6 the people of Iram, the city of many pillars, 7 the like of which was never created in the countries? 8 (Also consider how He dealt with) the Thamud, who carved their houses out of the rocks in the valley. 9 And Pharaoh, of the pegs (impaling his victims)? 10 [All of] whom oppressed within the lands 11 And increased therein the corruption. 12 so your Lord unleashed on them the scourge of punishment: 13 surely thy Lord is ever on the watch. 14 And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me." 15 But when He tries him, by straitening his means of life, he says: "My Lord has humiliated me!" 16 But no; you do not treat the orphan honourably, 17 nor do you urge one another to feed the needy. 18 And you devour (others') inheritance greedily, 19 and you love wealth with an ardent love 20 Surely when We pound the earth to powder grounded, pounded to dust, 21 when your Lord comes down with the angels, rank upon rank, 22 And the Hell on that Day shall be brought nigh. On that Day man shall remember, but how will remembrance avail him? 23 He shall say: O! would that I had sent before for (this) my life! 24 On that day the punishment of God and His detention will be unparalleled. 25 And none can bind as He will bind. 26 [But unto the righteous God will say,] "O thou human being that hast attained to inner peace! 27 return to your Lord wellpleased, wellpleasing. 28 "Enter then among My votaries, 29 "Yea, enter thou My Heaven! 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
