The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
