Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
