Al-nahl 12 of 16
The day We shall call a witness from every people, the unbelievers will not be allowed to make excuses. 84 Once the wrong-doers have beheld the chastisement, neither will it be lightened for them nor will they be granted any respite. 85 And when those who associated partners with Allah see their (Allah's so-called) partners, they will say: "Our Lord! These are our partners whom we used to invoke besides you." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Surely! You indeed are liars!" 86 And they will impart to Allah that Day [their] submission, and lost from them is what they used to invent. 87 Those who disbelieve and bar others from the Path of Allah, We shall add punishment upon their punishment because they were corrupting. 88 One day We shall raise from all Peoples a witness against them, from amongst themselves: and We shall bring thee as a witness against these (thy people): and We have sent down to thee the Book explaining all things, a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims. 89
