Prostration
< random >
Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
