Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
