Noah said, "Lord, they have disobeyed me and followed those whose wealth and children will only bring about destruction for them. 21 "And they have devised a tremendous Plot. 22 and they said [to their followers], "Do not ever abandon your deities: abandon neither Wadd, nor Suwa', and neither Yaghuth, nor Yauq nor Nasr!" 23 "And so they have led many a one astray: hence, ordain Thou that these evildoers stray but farther and farther away [from all that they may desire]!" 24 Because of their wrongs they were drowned, then made to enter fire, so they did not find any helpers besides Allah. 25 And Noah, said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a single one on earth! 26 Surely, if Thou leavest them, they will lead Thy servants astray, and will beget none but unbelieving libertines. 27 My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer, and forgive all believers, both men and women, and do not increase the wrong-doers in anything except perdition.” 28
