Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
