They will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: "My Lord will uproot them from the base, 105 then He will leave them a level hollow 106 "Nothing crooked or curved wilt thou see in their place." 107 That Day they shall follow the caller for whom there shall be no crookedness; and voices shall be humbled for the Compassionate; so that thou shalt not hear ought except pattering 108 On that day no one’s intercession shall benefit except his to whom the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word He has liked. (The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 109 He knoweth that which is before them and that which is behind them, and they encompass it not with their knowledge. 110 ۞ And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. And he will have failed who carries injustice. 111 And he who hath done some good works, being a believer, he feareth not injustice nor begrudging (of his wage). 112 And thus We have sent it down as a Quran in Arabic, and have explained therein in detail the warnings, in order that they may fear Allah, or that it may cause them to have a lesson from it (or to have the honour for believing and acting on its teachings). 113 Supremely exalted is therefore Allah, the King, the Truth, and do not make haste with the Quran before its revelation is made complete to you and say: O my Lord! increase me in knowledge. 114 We had already, beforehand, taken the covenant of Adam, but he forgot: and We found on his part no firm resolve. 115
