Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 And it is He Who hath appointed the night and the day a succession, for him who desireth to consider or desireth to be grateful. 62 And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, 63 who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; 64 who pray, "Our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing: 65 verily, how evil an abode and a station!"; 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. 68 of sin-doubled shall be the chastisement for him on the Resurrection Day, and he shall dwell therein humbled, 69 except he who repents and believes and does good works those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds; Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 70 He who repents and does good deeds has truly turned to God. 71 And those who do not give false evidence, and if they come across unbecoming talk ignore it and pass by in a sedate way; 72 who do not turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the signs of their Lord when they are reminded of them; 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say: 'My Lord cares little for you if it was not for your supplication, indeed you have belied (the Messenger and the Koran) so it (the punishment) will be fastened' 77
