The people of Lut rejected the messengers. 160 When their brother Lut said unto them: fear ye not? 161 I am for you an honest Messenger. 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 I seek of you no reward. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 164 Do you, in the world, want to have carnal relations with males 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!" 166 They said: "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will be expelled (from the city)." 167 He said, 'Truly I am a detester of what you do. 168 [And then he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Save me and my household from all that they are doing!" 169 Then We delivered him and all his family 170 all but an old woman, who was among those that stayed behind; 171 Then We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained on them a rain (of torment). And how evil was the rain of those who had been warned. 173 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175
