If only you could see when the sinners will stand before their Lord, heads hung low, (and say:) "O Lord, we have seen and heard. So send us back. We shall do the right, for we have come to believe with certainty." 12 If We had so willed, We could certainly have brought every soul its true guidance: but the Word from Me will come true, "I will fill Hell with Jinns and men all together." 13 “Therefore taste the recompense of your forgetting the confronting of this day of yours; We have abandoned you – now taste the everlasting punishment, the recompense of your deeds!” 14 The people who truly believe in Our messages are those who fall to the ground in prostration when they are reminded of them, and glorify their Lord with praise and are not arrogant. ۩ 15 whose sides forsake their couches as they supplicate to their Lord in fear and hope; who give in charity of that which We have given them. 16 No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do. 17 Is a believer equal to an evil-doer? They are not equal at all. 18 As for those who believe and do good works, there are for them the Gardens of Refuge, in hospitality for that which they have done. 19 but as for those who are lost in iniquity - their goal is the fire: as oft as they will try to come out of it, they will be thrown back into it; and they will be told, "Taste [now] this suffering through fire which you were wont to call a lie!" 20 And We shall indeed make them taste the smaller punishment before the greater punishment, so that they may return. 21 And who is more unjust than one who is preached to from the verses his Lord, then he turns away from them? We will indeed take revenge from the guilty. 22
