Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
