Seest thou one who turns back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
