Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a book that is protected 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
