Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
