Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7
