۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 They are always harassing us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
