۞ Say: I exhort you only to one thing, that rise up for Allah's sake in twos and singly, then ponder: there is no madness in your fellow-citizen; he is only a warner to you before a severe chastisement. 46 Say: "No reward have I ever asked of you [out of anything] that is yours: my reward rests with none but God, and He is witness unto everything!" 47 Say to them, "My Lord hurls forth the Truth [at falsehood] and He is the knower of hidden things." 48 Say: "The truth has come, and falsehood had neither precedence nor will reappear." 49 Say: 'If I go astray, I go astray only to my own loss; if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. He is All-hearing, Ever-nigh.' 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 They will say: "We believe in it." How could they reach it from a place of no return? 52 since they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a distant place? 53 And a gulf is set between them and that which they desire, as was done for people of their kind of old. Lo! they were in hopeless doubt. 54
