Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
