Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by that which ye see. 38 and all that you do not see, 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
