The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
