Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 and also his wife who carries the fuel, 4 shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
