Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
