Have you not seen how those who dispute the revelations of God, turn away from Truth to falsehood? 69 Those who gave the lie to this Book and all the Books which We had sent with Our Messengers shall soon come to know the Truth 70 When the fetters and the chains shall be on their necks; they shall be dragged 71 into the boiling water and then are thrown into the Fire, 72 Then shall it be said to them: "Where are the (deities) to which ye gave part-worship- 73 "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. 74 'That is because you rejoiced in the earth without right, and were exultant. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna and live there for ever. Evil is the lodging of the proud. 76 So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
