No! By the moon 32 And the night when it departs, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 a warning to humans, 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 except those of the right hand 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 concerning the sinners, 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
