We verily have displayed (Our warnings) in this Qur'an that they may take heed, but it increaseth them in naught save aversion. 41 Say (O Muhammad SAW to these polytheists, pagans, etc.): "If there had been other aliha (gods) along with Him as they assert, then they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne (seeking His Pleasures and to be near to Him). 42 Purity and Supremacy are to Him from what they utter, a Great Supremacy! 43 The seven heavens extol His limitless glory, and the earth, and all that they contain; and there is not a single thing but extols His limitless glory and praise: but you [O men] fail to grasp the manner of their glorifying Him! Verily, He is forbearing, much-forgiving! 44 When thou recitest the Koran, We place between thee, and those who do not believe in the world to come, a curtain obstructing, 45 We lay veils upon their hearts and heaviness in their ears, lest they understand it. When you (Prophet Muhammad) mention your Lord alone in the Koran, they turn their backs in aversion. 46 We know well with what (intent) they hear you, for when they confer privately the wicked say: "You follow but a man deluded." 47 See what similes they strike for thee: but they have gone astray, and never can they find a way. 48 The pagans say, "When we become mere bones and dust, shall we then be brought back to life again?" 49 Proclaim, “Become stones or iron.” 50 ۞ or any other creation yet more monstrous in your minds' They will ask: 'Who will restore us' Say: 'He who originated you at first' They will shake their heads and ask: 'When will this be' Say: 'Maybe it is near, 51 On the day when He will call you forth, then shall you obey Him, giving Him praise, and you will think that you tarried but a little (while). 52
