Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
