۞ And Allah has proclaimed, “Do not ascribe two Gods; indeed He is the only One God; therefore fear Me alone.” 51 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. God's retribution is severe. Should you then have fear of anyone other than God? 52 And whatsoever of favour is with you is from Allah; then when distress toucheth you, unto Him ye cry out. 53 When He removes your affliction then some of you set up associates to their Lord 54 that they may show unthankfulness for that We have given them. So take your joy; certainly you will soon know! 55 They give to unknown images a share out of the sustenance that We gave them. By God, you will be questioned about that which you have falsely invented. 56 They ascribe daughters to Allah exaltations to Him! But they themselves would have what they desire! 57 When the birth of a girl is announced to any of them, his face darkens and he is filled with gloom. 58 as he hides him from the people because of the evil of the good tidings that have been given unto him, whether he shall preserve it in humiliation, or trample it; into the dust. Ah, evil is that they judge! 59 For those who do not believe in the hereafter is an evil attribute, and Allah's is the loftiest attribute; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 60
