Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then indeed We shall drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against the Most Beneficent (Allah). 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?" 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
