And We certainly saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment - 30 From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant. 31 and We chose them, out of a knowledge, above all beings, 32 And We gave them of the communications wherein was clear blessing. 33 Most surely these do say: 34 “There is nothing except our dying just once, and we will not be raised.” 35 Bring back our fathers, if ye speak the truth! 36 Are they, then, better than the people of Tubba and those before them, whom We destroyed because they were truly lost in [the same] sin? 37 For [thus it is:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in mere idle play: 38 We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not. 39 Verily the Day of Distinction is the term appointed for all of them. 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 except those to whom Allah shows mercy. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate. 42
